About Stephen

During my youth, I participated in team sports and attempted to play football in High School. I eventually realized that I wasn’t much of an athlete and didn’t really enjoy or thrive in organized competitive sports. I eventually discovered weight training during my senior year of High School and quickly fell in love with it. I mainly enjoyed the fact that It was something I could do on my own without the pressures of competing with others- I only competed with myself. I loved the challenges of pushing myself in the weight room by getting stronger and seeing my physique change over time. I worked at several gyms while attending college and eventually pursued becoming a certified personal trainer.  I eventually realized that college wasn’t for me and sought out to be a personal trainer full time.


Personal training has been my career since July of 2001. I enjoy utilizing my fitness background and training experience to help people in a one-on-one setting. My knowledge of current and effective fitness routines as well as my experience in the industry, helps clients reach their fitness, personal health, and nutrition goals. Over the years I have worked with a vast clientele and I pride myself in my ability to adjust my training techniques to fit each unique client. I can prepare a workout program for you based on what you want to achieve, whether it be weight loss, strength or overall health goals. Many clients over the years have often described me as being one of the most chill people they’ve ever met. I’m not a loud, in-your-face type of trainer and I think that some clientele appreciates that. My hobbies unrelated to fitness include craft beer, coffee, premium cigars, and hanging out with my cat, Walter.  I look forward to speaking with you about the next steps in your fitness journey.
